However, you need to pay a small amount for sending text messages:
-> USA & Canada: 5 cents/sms
-> India: 10 cents/sms
-> Rest of the world: 20 cents/sms

And for the outgoing calls:
-> USA & Canada: 1 cent/minute

-> India: 2.5 cents/minute
-> Rest of the world: See the accurate price per minute the moment you dial the number.

The reasons of Telegram failed registration:
1- Using an unofficial Telegram App, like Telegraph.
2- If you registered with multiple numbers in a short period over the same device.
3- When you got banned several times over the same device.

Note: If you didn’t receive your Telegram verification code via SMS, please use Call Verification method, without VPN connection.

Your US virtual phone number can be used just like a regular US Phone number, however it’s a VoIP number and not a GSM.

So, during registration, most of the high tech companies verify the phone number type, and some of them doesn’t allow to register with a VoIP number… Like Tinder & Viber!

Otherwise you can get a UK Mobile Number, or a Canadian phone number where It's more compatible for online verifications.
